Kids Yoga burlington Fall Registration

Classes guide children and teens in a non-competitive environment to explore movement, breath, and relaxation techniques that are creative and playful. With a holistic approach to yoga, instructor Lindsey Ilott  incorporates strengthening and heart opening postures that encourage self-awareness, clarity of mind, balance, and positive intention.

Join Jen Irvine for an inspiring six-week run and yoga program.  Starting at 6:15pm on Tuesday night's, lace your runners and join your Kula for a thirty minute run. The run will be followed by an hour yoga class to stretch and align the body for optimal performance and health during your running regime.  The yoga class emphasizes postures that isolate muscles and joints most affected by repetitive use in order to ensure the body remains limber and injury free, as well as cultivates mental focus and clarity to support one’s empowered aspirations.

All levels welcome!

Breathe and move into fall with Jannine Markou, by joining us for an evening of flowing yoga to the live rhythms of tabla drums. This class integrates breath and movement with inspired rhythmic drumbeats, taking you deeper into your practice.

Special guest, musician Nathaniel Heppell, will be providing accompaniment on the tabla.

She is a Vinyasa inspired teacher, offering flowing classes that incorporate pranayama, visualization, and Vedic Chanting while weaving principles from Ashtanga, Iyengar and Hatha Yoga.

Yoga is a powerful practice which enables us to connect to our inherent wisdom and create profound shifts within our body, mind and heart. This six week course is designed to help students attune to where healing is asked, and skillfully utilize Yoga as a means for developing reflective understanding and empowered transformation in one’s life. 

Whether confronting chronic pain, physical ailments, emotional wounds or overcoming an injury, students will develop skills to empower their innate healing ability, and create long-lasting, meaningful changes within.


Classes will be held in a caring and supportive environment, with a maximum enrollment of ten students.

Healing Through Yoga Burlington

Colin Matthews is the founding director of Kula Yoga Studios. He has spent the past ten years studying a wide variety of Yoga disciplines; his primary influence is the tradition of Anusara Yoga. Colin continues to study in great depth the teachings of Modern Mystics, such as Caroline Myss, and he shares methods of cultivating intuitive faculties through the practice of Yoga.

Colin’s passion rests in education, healing, and transformation, and he strives to impart knowledge with the express purpose of skillful application to his students. Colin invites an ever-evolving conversation with one’s self and community, and he is known for his playful expression as he weaves philosophy and spirituality into every day life.

Chair Yoga: Seated Stretching for a Gentle and Supported Practice

This six week Chair Yoga program is perfect for anyone who would like to experience yoga, but has difficulty getting down on the floor and exploring asana through traditional yoga poses. Instructor, Beth Rutty will take sitting on the floor out of the equation and guide students through a series of modified yoga poses designed to move the entire body, regardless of physical limitations. Classes will include all the elements of a conventional yoga class, such as breath awareness, warm ups and modified yoga poses that can be as challenging as students want to make them. For those who are able, the class will include some standing poses using the chair and the wall.


No previous yoga experience required - all are welcome!
